Churches left to right: Milan Hollow Christian Connexion, Rowe Methodist, unsure of third church at right above “Milan.” This 1829 map supports the idea that LaFayette Corners was first so-named after the 1834 death of Lafayette, and not after his 1824 tour of the US.
